In 1974, a group of local residents came together to create a neighbourhood festival that featured music, crafts, food, and fun for kids and adults alike. Almost half-a-century later, Alex Fest continues to create new memories and lasting connections in the community.

The festival is a place for neighbours to come together and share their talents, skills, and services to the place we all call home. Held on the last Saturday in May, the festival showcases local performers, crafters and artisans, and community groups. There are plenty of kids’ activities, local vendors and, of course, food!
